Fix Slow Connection of Mac to Airport

About: Having slow connections between a Mac and Airport unit may be experienced for different reasons. This may be attributed to configuration, hardware or a signal disturbance.

If you are having slow connection between your Mac unit and your Airport you can try these procedures to resolve it. This may not be the best steps to speed the connection but somehow this works and solved issues on Mac and Airport units.

1. Open System Preferences
2. Click on Network to view the settings
3. Click Advanced to view advance settings
4. Drag your network to the top of the list
5. Click OK

Also you may try this method.
1. Trash the SystemConfiguration folder, you can find it on the folder /Library/Preferences/
2. Also, trash the com.apple.systempreferences.plist located at Home/Library/Preferences/
3. Restart the the unit and try another connection to you Airport.
