How to Uninstall Internet Explorer Completely

About: To completely remove damaged Internet Explorer files that is causing its misbehavior, certain steps have to be taken, not only removing the program but other files and folders related to it.

There are times that a copy of Internet Explorer have to be remove to fix certain problems and misbehavior. IE cannot be completely remove by just an Add/Remove programs or simply deleting the folder. To completely remove Internet Explorer on your computer, see this procedure:

1. Go to Start > Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.

3. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click Internet Explorer in the list of installed programs, and then click Add/Remove.

4. Click “Uninstall Internet Explorer and all its components,” and then click OK to confirm.

5. Restart your computer if necessary.

6. After reboot, open Windows Explorer and navigate to  C:\Windows\ and delete the Web folder.
